Navis DAS (DP Alert System) is designed in accordance with the requirements of the M103 and M220 IMCA regulations and is ASOG compliant.
The RP emergency warning system is a means of communication between the operator of the RP system and the ship’s crew involved in RP operations, which makes it possible to prevent potential damage in the event of a possible equipment failure.
Navis DAS consists of:
– command panels designed to install and display the status of the DP;
– information panels designed to confirm and display the status of the DP;
– external light and sound alarm (option).
The system can include up to 15 command and 15 information panels.
SDP is operating normally.
Slight deviation in the work of the SDP, does not affect the quality of positioning
Warning of deterioration in the functioning of the PDS due to a decrease in available power, loss of a sensor and / or propulsion mechanism (PM). The VPS tries to keep the vessel in position using the allowable power, the remaining sensors and the PM
Emergency status. The VPS cannot ensure the vessel is kept in a given position
Optional status. Works independently of other statuses – can be set or removed together with any other status, does not require confirmation
